Dr. Lauren Cortjens enjoys working with athletes and individuals of all abilities, ranging from the part-time athlete and weekend warrior to elite professional and Olympic competitors.
As an athlete herself, she understands the mindset and emotions involved while training and preparing for competition. Her practice is devoted primarily to the treatment and prevention of athletic injuries utilizing various soft tissue techniques such as Active Release Techniques (ART), Graston, Fascial Distortion, Cupping, and more.
In 2012 she graduated from Life University, and has since then completed the post-graduate curriculum to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians.
Dr. Cortjens is also a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, a Crossfit Endurance Trainer, and Running Technique Specialist.

Dr. Emily Loftus loves helping people stay moving no matter what the activity. A new PR, keeping up with your kids or even your grandkids all movement is important to her!
Her love for Sports Rehab started after two disk herniations at the age of 18, the result of 4 years of being the Junior Olympic Volleyball Team Libero and 15 years of being competitive Three Day Eventing Equestrian. She quickly learned well rounded movement is the best medicine to prevent further injury. She truly believes that no problem exists alone, there needs to be a wholistic approach of soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and rehabilitation exercises to enable you to pursue your passions through all stages of life.
She Graduated Cum Laude from Life University and along with her excellent chiropractic education Dr. Loftus has pursued other certifications to enhance her patients care, including Graston Technique, cupping, Active Release Technique (ART), Functional Movement Screening (FMS), and a certified personal trainer with a Russian Kettlebell certification.

Coming from a dance background, she understands the responsibility of taking care of the body, mind, and soul whether it’s training for a specific event, or simply living the best quality of daily life.
She graduated from Life University in March 2023, and since then she has completed certifications in soft tissue techniques such as Active Release Techniques (ART), Graston, Kinesio Taping (KT) and more.
She was born in Venezuela and moved to the U.S in 2007. She is fluent in both Spanish and English and is excited to extend her care to those with language barriers.
